Integrative Counseling for Relational Healing;

Individuals & Couples

Inner work builds awareness; relationships put it into practice.

Being healed isn’t a prerequisite for love- being willing to grow is. When we welcome opportunities to face our unfinished business, our closest relationships can become a portal of growth and transformation. Too often we miss this opportunity, giving away our power and focusing outward, instead of leaning in.

Instead of trying to “fix” them, what if you begin to notice where you are repeating an old wound?

Relationships are one of the most powerful mirrors we have- they reveal our unconscious conditioning and attachment wounds… but every conflict invites us to evolve and grow deeper in intimacy.

Relational wounds require relational healing.

Together, we will explore how your relationship is offering you an opportunity to grow, where your unfinished business is getting in the way of loving and being loved, and how to stay connected to your body’s intuitive wisdom every day- and especially during conflict- as to not get trapped in old frustrating patterns.

Meet Miriam:

Hi there, I’m a recovering individualist who learned the hard way that healing alone doesn’t prepare you for real relationships.

Solo healing used to be my thing. I spent years working through my early traumas, determined to turn my pain into power. I sought out certifications, ceremonies, workshops, and deep self-study which helped me find my path and connect to my community.

For over a decade now, I’ve helped people heal the roots of their trauma, reconnect to the wisdom of their bodies, and experience more authenticity and intimacy in their relationships.

A pivotal point in my journey came when a profound loss sent me into deep grief and PTSD — my own dark night of the soul. I spent years healing my nervous system and through the process, discovered that the work I had done until then was incomplete. I had learned to be sovereign and grounded in myself, but I didn’t know how to bring that wholeness into my relationships.

This was my wake up call to go deeper.

With the help of somatic trauma therapy, daily nervous system practices, lots of time in nature and the guidance of loving mentors, I allowed my grief to soften me and show me where I had avoided intimacy. My suffering became a teacher, carving out a place inside where I was, for the first time, available for healthy love.

All the inner work in the world doesn’t matter if it doesn’t hold up in your relationships.

My work differs from traditional therapy because I help people get out of their head and into their body, where the patterns are rooted, so they can live intentional lives and create conscious relationships.

I believe that intimacy holds up a mirror for us to work on our unfinished business and free ourselves from disempowering cycles.

My background is varied across scientific, somatic, psychological and spiritual disciplines- and I bring that balance into my practice; I am certified in Somatic Trauma Therapy, and couples counseling through the Relational Life Institute. I hold a degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and am a licensed acupuncturist. I am initiated into Sri Vidya lineage Tantra Yoga and bring sacred intimacy practices into my work with couples. For over 20 years I’ve been on a path of personal transformation supported by plant medicine & ritual, and I bring that depth and devotion into my work with clients.

Services offered:

Whether you’ve been on the healing path for years or if you’re just getting started, your life is calling you to go deeper. Together, we’ll gently uncover the loops, knots, and patterns that have been keeping you stuck in situations & relationships that don’t feel aligned. Using integrative practices such as somatic trauma therapy, parts work and somatic meditations, we’ll listen to the wisdom of your body, release the resistance that blocks your truth, and bring your empowered, aligned, authentic self forward into your life & relationships.

Sliding scale: $185 - $225 / Session

Intimate relationships invite us to ask a powerful question: How is this relationship asking me to grow? Yet it’s not always easy to see our own role in the patterns that keep us stuck, especially when it feels like the problem lies with the other person. With my guidance, we will approach intimacy, conflict and disconnection as an opening for healing. We’ll explore the deeper patterns beneath your reactions, learn practices to cultivate deeper intimacy, communicate from an embodied place and create the kind of authentic connection where both partners can truly thrive.
